About Elevated Grounds

Elevated Grounds (EG) is an elder-mentored organization that educates, elevates and entertains, by using creative and informative theatrical-based performances and educational presentations. Through this theatrical-based performance, our goal is for parents and guardians to gain insights about mental health from a youth's point of view, learn how to be supportive of young survivors of mental illness, and learn that recovery is possible once healthy coping strategies are incorporated in their lives.

The audience will learn important issues of de-stigmatizing mental illness so that it is no longer a taboo topic in the youth or adult world. Talking about mental health helps challenge misunderstanding, increases confidence in young people, and encourages people to seek help for whatever issue they may be facing, to achieve good mental health.

The same presentation will be made on two separate dates – as space is limited, please register only for the event you intend to attend. The other date will be on:
